Available to play for weddings, celebrations, cocktail hours, or any event where solo piano can be enjoyed.
Michele is also available for accompanying student exams, recitals, Kiwanis or similar festivals.
BIO
Michele Comrie is a Toronto based pianist, working as an accompanist and teacher throughout the GTA. Specializing in RCM prep, she teaches students of all ages and abilities. Michele has quickly established herself as an in-demand private teacher and is excited to continue growing her home studio in Leslieville.
Ms. Comrie is a graduate of the University of Toronto where she completed a Bachelor of Music studying with Boyanna Toyich. Michele is also a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association.
Alongside her busy teaching schedule, Michele also works as an accompanist and a performer. Michele is an experienced accompanist of the Kiwanis Music Festival and RCM exams, where she works with students in all disciplines. She enjoys collaborating with students and professionals alike.
Accustomed to teaching a wide-range of students in age and ability, Michele enjoys finding new ways to teach each student that fits their unique style. She has coached students towards First Class Honours in RCM exams, festival competitions, learning new styles of Rock and Pop, and even beginner jazz improvisation.
